FAQ
What kinds of activities and themes can we choose?
Literally anything! We've done every type of activity and theme you could possibly think of. If your kiddo has a particular theme or activity in mind, just let us know in the booking form and we'll find a way to make it work. We particularly love themes that are based off of books!
Are we allowed to bring siblings along?
Yes, as long as you let us know ahead of time that they're coming (especially if that sibling is very different in age from the birthday kid). We don't count siblings as a "guest" so they won't limit how many friends your kid can invite.
What supplies and decorations do I need to bring?
None! For real! We do all the decorating and table set up for the party so you don't need to bring anything. If you want to bring something special (think a big balloon bouquet or a pinata), then you are welcome to do that!
What do we do for food?
Party food is the responsibility of the parents and you can bring whatever you'd like, with a couple exceptions*.
We usually recommend ordering pizza, and you can have it delivered straight to the store! For Saturday parties, we recommend a delivery time of 6:15pm. For Sunday mornings, we suggest 11:15 and for evenings, we suggest 5:15pm.
You can bring snacks to accompany dinner, but we don't recommend setting them up before the activities. For drinks, juice boxes and water bottles are the best option. You can bring cake or cupcakes, but please note that we do not have a freezer for ice cream cakes.
*we ask that you be aware of any potential allergies in your guest list and choose food accordingly. We also ask that you do not bring popcorn, gold fish crackers, or candies like skittles and m&ms (they tend to roll under shelves)
Are parents allowed to stay for the party?
We would prefer that parties be treated as "drop off" parties but we understand that some guests might feel more comfortable if their parent stays with them. We only ask that the number of parents is limited to only those that are necessary as our space can get a bit crowded with too many adult attendees.

Are party guests allowed to shop at the party?
Sure! We know its difficult to resist finding something when the kids are surrounded by so much cool stuff! We ask that you restrict shopping to before/after the party activities so the staff can focus on the birthday party!
Does Moonbeam have a bathroom for the party guests to use?
Yes, we do. However, our bathroom is in the basement of the store and therefore not fully accessible. If you have any concerns about this, please let us know.
Is there parking for drop off/pick up?
There is free 2 hour parking along Jane Street and on side streets for guests to use.
Is there a deposit required to book a party?
Yes, we require a $50 deposit to hold the date of your party, which will be applied to your final party cost. The remaining balance of the party can be paid on the day of.
